Split into two, The Great Escape by day sees a series of interviews, talks and workshops take place from leading figures within the music industry. At night meanwhile, it becomes an all-out festival showcasing some of the best global artists, playing in various venues within the centre of Brighton.
So far confirmed for 2008’s event are Black Mountain, Tunng, Peter Von Poehl, Fujiya & Miyagi, Lightspeed Champion, The Young Knives, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong and loads more yet to be announced, all alongside a whole host of other up and coming new bands.
